Open-Air Preparation
The Interscope Team removes the twin turbo 6-cylinder from the team’s Porsche 935 in the open paddock at Portland International Raceway during the IMSA GT race weekend. Interscope was one of the top teams, yet race preparation was very much a manual labor effort. No garages or massive tents to work under, just the open-air paddock. Fortunately, the IMSA teams could generally count on a hot dry Pacific Northwest summer.
