Touching History
Ferrari 166 Corsa Spyder s/n 004C is the second car built by Ferrari after WW II. Bolt heads on the early Ferrari cars had the prancing horse embossed on the head of the bolt. They were used throughout the car to secure parts such as the suspension, etc. I had the opportunity to talk with the owner of the car and when he handed me one of the early bolts with the embossed prancing horse it felt like I was standing in the Maranello factory in 1947 as the company’s mechanics hand assembled the cars.
